Was the Great Flood real?

Many cultures have flood myths. Geological evidence suggests localized catastrophic floods occurred: the Black Sea deluge (~5600 BCE), Mesopotamian flooding, and Missoula Floods. No evidence supports a global flood covering all mountains as described in some religious texts.
