How do I get musty smell out of towels?

Wash in hot water with vinegar (1 cup) to kill odor-causing bacteria, then wash again with baking soda (1/2 cup). Dry thoroughly on high heat. Avoid overloading the washer and don't let wet towels sit. Sun drying also helps kill bacteria naturally.
