How do I get rid of fruit flies?

Create a trap: apple cider vinegar in a bowl with a drop of dish soap (breaks surface tension) covered with plastic wrap poked with small holes. Flies enter but can't escape. Eliminate breeding sources (overripe fruit, drain buildup). Clean drains with boiling water or enzyme cleaner.
