Why doesn't glue stick to the inside of the bottle?

Glue needs air to dry and harden. Inside the bottle, solvent keeps it liquid. Exposure to air evaporates the solvent, allowing polymers to cross-link and adhere. The bottle's surface is also designed not to react with the glue.
